Description

Orton Gillingham Phonics Cards

Can be used by home schoolers, tutors, or anyone teaching reading to a student.
Designed to accompany A Guide to Teaching Phonics by June Lyday Orton, this set of phonics cards reinforces the multisensory Orton-Gillingham approach to phonics. 100 Common phonograms are included for teaching the “language code” units and and sequences for reading, writing, and spelling.
The six primary groupings include:
  • Alphabet letters
  • Consonant digraphs
  • Consonant blends
  • Long vowel teams
  • Vowel dipthongs
  • Common endings
Instructions are included only in the sold-separately guide book, and it is recommended that teachers and students have their own sets of cards.

The rules are not on the back of the cards. If you would like the rules on the back of the card, consider purchasing the Language Toolkit or the Phonics Drill Cards.
